Not only did he take care of the kids while I was out of town for a full week, including two Saturdays and a Sunday, but he remembered to purchase mother’s day cards for all our grandmas, have the boys decorate them, address, stamp and mail them – all on his own, without a reminder from me. Cards are usually my job, but I was a little distracted before I left town.
I arrived home at 11:30 Saturday night, getting out of Europe just ahead of the Icelandic volcano shutting down more airports. Whew! My boys were safe and happy all week with daddy, and we had a wonderful Mother’s Day, all of us together.
P.S. Public service announcement: If you buy a ticket to the Airport Express train, try to get on a train that’s actually run by the Airport Express. I got to the airport anyway, but just sayin’.

Enjoyed the results.
That's awesome! Glad you had a nice Mother's Day.
Well done Swing Daddy! And I'm glad you made it home in advance of the volcanic shutdowns. It sounds like a win all around.
