The Movie Critic Summarizes the Year

I read a post today ranking the top 25 movies the blogger had seen in the theatre during 2009, taking into account his “own expectations going in, resources available to the filmmakers, to the use of 3D” and so on. My list would be somewhat easier to compile.

Top movies I saw in the theatre in 2009:

1. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

And there you have it.

We did, however, get to watch much excellent dancing in the comfort of our own living room.

For a minute, I thought that was a 3D photo.

Hey, you saw a movie in the theatre in 2009? I'm impressed! The last time I made it out was in 2008. Oh, the glamour of life with small children!

Sure, I made it to theater a few times. But all the films were rated G.
