"I made an octopus for you at school today, Mommy!" the little dude exclaims. He holds out a piece of construction paper taped into a tube with a series of short parallel cuts on one end, making legs. My heart flutters. My boy knows I love octopi.(One of the sticky eyes already fell off, but we know what it's supposed to be.)
