Signed, Sealed and Delivered

Another snowman joins the fray.

Q intercepted the frozen waffle this morning before I got it to the toaster and promptly ate half in its icy state. Yum, a new treat.

We finished getting our Christmas cards ready tonight! After taking the family photo at the end of October and carefully ordering the cards in November, I didn't getting around to scrubbing the address list until this weekend. A remarkable number of our friends are starting to stay in one place longer than a year, so we had fewer updates than usual, but the side benefit of checking in is getting bits of exciting news when friends respond with their addresses. Is it strange to correspond a bunch on email in order to send a card by post? I think there's still something nice about physical mail.

Tomorrow: The long awaited (at least in my head) photo essay about our family photo shoot.

Finished all 70 cards last week. I used to write up ALL the addresses but this year, I got wiser and typed it all up. What was I thinking of all of the years before. D'UH!!

Ha--my kids love the frozen waffles too! That is, if the dog doesn't steal them first.

We're planning a drive-by to see your neighbors house. It's definitely the most highly decorated I know of. Good thing you guys got blackout curtains - you need them day and night now!

I used to love to eat frozen waffles when I was a kid. They were great for when I didn't have the patience to wait for them to toast. I had no idea anyone other than me and my sister ever did that though... =)

Bee thinks that frozen waffles are quite the delicacy. Q has a great palate.

Nice to see you guys yesterday... You guys all look wonderful.

I like the frozen waffle idea. Yesterday at the market K hadned back an orange slice after eating the rind instead of the orange. We asked her to try the orange and that went down much quicker.

I had no idea there were so many fans of frozen waffles! I prefer them toasted, but it's good to have an alternative when you're impatient.

Andrew's Mommy and K Goose's Mom - if you come by to see our neighbor's light display, knock on our door to say hello!
